Tasmania Election Betting Odds 2024 – Who will win power in the Tasmania Election in 2024?

With the election edging ever-closer, the Liberals have become big favourites to secure another term in office at $1.03 with TopSport.

The Liberals head towards the Tasmania State Election as the favourites to secure power in 2024. The Liberal Party is someway clear at the head of the betting at $1.03 with bookmaker TopSport.

The Labor Party is next in line at $7.25 after drifting slightly, with the Greens ($61.00) and Any Other ($151.00) also in the mix. 

However, with mere days between now and the election itself, the bookies clearly see this as the Liberal's to lose. While Labor are second-favourites and will fight to the very end, the odds allude to the Liberals securing another term in office. 

The 2024 Tasmania Election follows on from the Tasmania Election in 2021. In 2021, it was Peter Gutwein and the Liberal Party that secured power. They won 13 seats, with Labor slipping from 10 seats down to nine, while the Greens stuck with two seats. 

In 2024, Jeremy Rockliff will be leading the Liberal Party into the election. As mentioned, the Liberals won 13 seats in the last election, but they will need more this time in order to secure a majority after the Assembly’s size was increased from 25 to 35 seats. 

The Liberals will be aiming to secure a fourth-straight term in office. Rebecca White will lead Labor into the election, while Rosalie Woodruff will lead the Greens. 

With mere days between now and the election itself, Labor and the Greens are running out of time to win support and end the Liberal’s impressive term in office. Of course, anything can happen when it comes to politics, but the odds suggest this one will go in the direction of the Liberals.
