As the Dominic Cummings scandal rumbles on in the United Kingdom over his actions during the coronavirus lockdown, political betting analysts believe that Prime Minister Boris Johnson's chances of surviving with his authority intact are diminishing rapidly.

But in backing Cummings, Johnson might have misread the anger in the country, that a member BoJo's inner circle could flout the lockdown rules.
The concern amongst Tory MPs now is that Johnson is eroding political goodwill fast and that this will result in him becoming a political liability rather than a unifying "man of the people" PM, which Britain sorely needs in admist the Covid-19 epidemic and the preparations for Brexit.
