Known as The Voice Referendum, the Australian public will have their say in the simple yes/no question of whether or not to change the constitution and recognise the First People of Australia.

All voting-age Australians will have their say on whether the Constitution should be changed to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by creating the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice in Parliament.

We take a look at the current betting odds and what they suggest in regards to the probability of the country voting yes or no.

Indigenous Voice Vote Australia Betting Odds

Bookmaker BlueBet has framed the betting market and it is a 'No' vote in the 'Will Australia Vote Yes To The Voice Referendum?' that is the clear favourite at $1.09.

That is an implied probability of around 90% on the outcome being No.

'Yes' being the winner of the vote is the outsider in the betting at $5.75 with the betting site currently suggesting Australia will decide against a change. It is worth noting that the odds of Australia voting yes have shortened of late.
