Tennis will once again have it's moment in the sun at the Summer Olympics, with the sport set to draw in the eyes of the world.

Ahead of the competition, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is the favourite to secure gold at $3.00 with bet365, but is he the man to back?

Carlos Alcaraz has taken the tennis world by storm in recent years, with the Spanish star able to contest with the very best at the four major Grand Slam events. This has seen Alcaraz installed as the favourite to add a gold medal to his growing collection of titles at $3.00.

Jannik Sinner is next in line at $3.75, with Novak Djokovic next at $4.00. 2020's champion Alexander Zverev is the only other option available below $10.00, with the German priced at $7.00.

A big option that some will hope has the chance of securing a fairytale gold is Rafael Nadal. Nadal is priced at $11.00, someway short of compatriot Alcaraz.

This year, the competition will be incredibly tight. Alcaraz, Sinner, and Djokovic are all in fantastic form heading into the event, while few will discount Nadal's quality.

Alexander Zverev is also a proposition that will interest many. Zverev won the gold medal in 2020 for Germany, and he will be desperate to defend his title in 2024. With Zverev already showing he has what it takes to win gold, could he be the man to back in 2024?

All of the talk seems to have moved away from Djokovic, who has been a serial winner on the tennis circuit. If the Serb can get on a run of wins, then he will be incredibly tough to beat.

With so many incredibly talented tennis players set to battle at the 2024 Olympics, this really could be anyone's to win. Will Alcaraz come through on being the favourite, can old favourite Nadal secure one final crown, or will another player secure gold on the biggest stage?
