The New Zealand Warriors host the Manly Sea Eagles at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Both sides have missed the finals this season, but who will finish their campaign in strong fashion with a final day win.

Warriors Form & Team News

The New Zealand Warriors have often been criticised for an inability to grind out a win, but in a season like never before they have been extremely brave in each game in 2020 having been on the road all season.

After losing star fullback and captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, the Warriors went down 26-14 to the Canberra Raiders last week.

Peta Hiku moves to fullback in place of Tuivasa-Sheck (hamstring) and Patrick Herbert returns on the wing with Hayze Perham shifting to centre.

Isaiah Papali'i starts at prop, pushing Jamayne Taunoa-Brown to the bench. Tohu Harris comes into the second-row alongside the returning Eliesa Katoa, while Jack Murchie joins the bench.

Tevita Funa covers the loss of Trbojevic at fullback, while Reuben Garrick returns to the wing to partner Abbas Miski on the other wing. That pushes Albert Hopoate to the interchange.

Warriors vs Sea Eagles Match Up

Jamayne Taunua-Brown has enjoyed a breakout season this year for the Warriors and will be looking to finish the season in strong fashion. He comes up against a fired-up Martin Tapau.

Set to lose his front-row partner Addin Fonua-Blake to the Warriors next season, Tapau will be looking to stamp his authority against New Zealand on Sunday.

Although Taunua-Brown will be coming off the bench, the race sets up as a clash between the Kiwi star and an up-and-coming youngster in a monumental front-row clash.
