They then went down to a St George Illawarra Dragons side that produced one of the best performances of the year to date in Round 5, as they beat the Eels 26-12.

Parramatta responded with resounding wins over Canberra Raiders 35-10, Brisbane Broncos 46-6, Canterbury Bulldogs 32-10, Sydney Roosters 31-18 and the New Zealand Warriors last week 34-18.

The Eels have just one injured player Will Smith, who is set to miss 2-3 weeks with an injured thumb. 

Joining him on the sidelines are the suspended Marata Niukore, who will return next week, and five-eighth Dylan Brown, who is three weeks away from a return.

The only change to the Eels side this week from the one that beat the Warriors is the addition of Joey Lussick on the bench at the expense of Ray Stone.

Manly Sea Eagles Form

Manly have had a real Jekyll and Hyde season so far, but are in a rich vein of form now.

They had arguably and statistically their worst start to a season ever, losing all of their opening four games quite convincingly. 

A hard-fought 13-12 victory over the inconsistent New Zealand Warriors in Round 5, combined with the return of star fullback Tom Trbojevic the following week, has seens fortunes dramatically shift.

They beat the Gold Coast Titans 36-0 and Wests Tigers 40-6 before going down to Penrith Panthers by 12 points in a spirited performance. 

Manly then beat the the Warriors again in a high scoring affair 38-32. Last weekend they hammered the hapless Brisbane Broncos 50-6.

Manly have had a rough trot with injuries this year. 

Andrew Davey and Morgan Boyle are already out for the season, while Josh Aloiai is out for at least another nine weeks. 

Jack Gosiewski is still two months away from a return, while Kieran Foran, Curtis Sironen and Dylan Walker are all expected to be ready for Round 14. 
Karl Lawton could be available as early as next weekend.

This weekend, Cade Cust will replace Foran in the halves and Zac Saddler moves onto the bench.
