Panthers vs Warriors Betting Tips & Match Preview

The undefeated Panthers host the Warriors on Friday night in Sydney in a match that could be a much more entertaining contest than we anticipated a week ago.

Penrith gripped on to play out a draw with the Knights on the weekend in a match both teams will think they should have won, while the Warriors shocked the Dragons but is that high level of play sustainable?

Panthers Form & Team News

The Panthers have started their season sharply and currently sit inside the top-four as one of only a quartet of teams that are yet to taste defeat in season 2020. Penrith had every opportunity to push for a top-two spot after leading the Knights throughout the afternoon, and Matt Burton will be rueing his five missed field goal opportunities.

Liam Martin replaces Billy Burns on the interchange. The Panthers have won five of their past seven games against the Warriors.

The Panthers team for Friday can be found below:

1. Caleb Aekins 2. Josh Mansour 3. Dean Whare 4. Stephen Crichton 5. Brian To’o 6. Matt Burton 7. Jarome Luai 8. James Tamou 9. Apisai Koroisau 10. James Fisher-Harris 11. Viliame Kikau 12. Warriors Form & Team News

After a dismal two weeks to kick off the season which saw the Warriors score just six points, the men from New Zealand were on the warpath last week, smashing the Dragons 18-0 in one of the most professional games the side has put together in years.

The big question now will be whether or not they can back that up on Friday night against a quality opponent.

Peta Hiku (ribs) and Agnatius Paasi (suspension) are out with Karl Lawton at centre and new signing Poasa Faamausili and Josh Curran joining the bench.

The Warriors team for Friday can be found below:

1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 2. Patrick Herbert 3. Karl Lawton 4. Gerard Beale 5. Ken Maumalo 6. Kodi Nikorima 7. Blake Green 8. Jamayne Taunoa-Brown 9. Wayde Egan 10. Adam Blair 11. Eliesa Katoa 12.
