The 2022 NRL season is here and last season’s winners Penrith Panthers are among the favourites to retain the premiership.
The Panthers' 2021 Grand Final win saw them
edge past South Sydney Rabbitohs in a tight 14-12 win.
The Panthers have been installed as the favourites at $5.00 with Ladbrokes to win the premiership again with victory in the 2022 Grand Final. However, they are not fancied to have it all their own way.
The Melbourne Storm, last year's minor premiers, are also at $5.00, while Sydney Roosters ($7.00), Manly Sea Eagles ($8.00) and South Sydney Rabbitohs ($9.00) are just behind the reigning champions.
