Who stood out and who caught the eye across NRL Round 9? Tony "Moley" Adams picks out his top five performers from another blockbuster weekend of footy.
1. Dylan Edwards (Panthers)

Maintined the pressure on James Tedesco for the NSW fullback spot with a five-star game against Souths, running for 200 run metres, making two line breaks and having a try assist.
2. Elliott Whitehead (Raiders)

Gave a great captain’s display, lifting his team after they trailled Manly 20-0 to inspire a brave 26-24 win. Scored two tries and created another in the Raiders’ shock win.
3. Terrell May (Roosters)

Came off the bench with a mighty impact, scoring two tries to turn the game against the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night. Has become one of the best interchange players in the NRL in 2024.
4. Kodi Nikorima (Dolphins)

Came up with four try assists to lead the Dolphins to a fine upset win over the Cowboys. Coming off contract in a few months and sure to get plenty of offers.
5. Reed Mahoney (Bulldogs)

The cheeky Bulldogs hooker topped the tackle count but it was his work with his mouth that caught the eye. He niggled the Tigers and they bit, losing two men to the sin bin as the Dogs scored a hard-fought win.
