Who stood out and who caught the eye across NRL Round 3? Tony Adams picks out his top 6 performers from another blockbuster weekend of footy.
1. James Tedesco

Reminded the fans that he is still one of the best fullbacks in the rugby league world with a brilliant performance against Souths on Friday night. Was a little down on his form in 2023 but has bounced back after a strong off season.
2. Nathan Cleary

The man who brought down the Broncos in the grand final was at it again, destroying the Brisbane defence in an early blitz that ensured the Panthers would finish on top of their arch rivals. The best player in the game at the moment.
3. Api Koroisau

What a performance in the shock win over the Sharks, getting the Tigers on the front foot with his slick dummyhalf work for one of the upsets of 2024. Topped the tackle count too - despite a bout of gastro.
4. Mitch Barnett

The under-rated Warriors prop led from the front against the strong Raiders pack to help his team to their first win of the season. Heading for Origin football on current form. Tough and loves the hard work.
5. Viliame Kikau

Played arguably his best game in Bulldogs colours, running with pace and power out wide to lead the club to its first win of 2024 against the terrible Titans. A colossus when he is in the mood - looks set for a big year.
6. Jahream Bula

Still a kid but a superstar in the making, scoring two tries as the Tigers upset the Sharks. Also handled a barrage of bombs from the Cronulla attack and was safe in the last line of defence.
