Who stood out and who caught the eye across NRL Round 22? Tony "Moley" Adams picks out his top five performers from another big weekend of footy.
1. Jahream Bula (Tigers)
What a prospect…three line breaks, two tries, over 200 metres - in a team that played the last 30 minutes against the Cowboys with 12 men but never stopped trying.
2. Clinton Gutherson (Eels)
Another fullback who had a great game under the bright lights, shining in Parra’s upset win over the Warriors. Gutho finished with a try, a try assist and a try save in the big upset win over the Warriors on Friday night.
3. Sam Walker (Roosters)
Starting to rival Reece Walsh and Kalyn Ponga as the game’s most exciting player. Scored two chip and chase tries and mesmerised the Dolphins with his skills in Perth on Friday night.
4. Beau Fermor (Titans)
Too big, strong and aggressive for the out-of-sorts Broncos. Led his team’s tackle count, scored a try and was involved in another.
5. Jaydn Su’A (Dragons)
Gets into the top five for his giant-killing performance against the Storm on Saturday night. Scored two tries and ran for 160 metres as his team scored a shock upset.
