Cronulla Sharks vs Dolphins

Nicho Hynes comes back into the Sharks side with a last chance to impress Blues coach Michael Maguire before Origin Two. The Dolphins will start -9.5 outsiders but that won’t worry them - they are a team chasing a finals spot who never say die.

Tony’s Tip: Mulitalo Anytime Tryscorer ($1.75 EliteBet)

Canberra Raiders vs North Queensland Cowboys

The Cowboys were humbled by the Warriors at home last week and have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the league in 2024. Ricky Stuart has the Raiders in fifth spot on the ladder and at home in the cold, I fancy their chances of moving a step closer to the finals.

Tony’s Tip: Raiders -1.5 ($2.00 bet365)

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Brisbane Broncos

Souths have strung together two straight wins and a third over the Broncos would give them a real belief that they could mount a late finals challenge. But with their Origin players all back bar the dynamic Reece Walsh, I can’t see the Broncos letting this one slip.

Tony’s Tip: Broncos -4.5 ($1.95 PlayUp)

Wests Tigers vs Gold Coast Titans

The Titans keep tumbling from one disaster to the next and normally at home against the Titans, I’d be tempted to go for them. But with Lachlan Galvin missing and morale at rock bottom, I can’t see them avoiding a tenth straight defeat.

Tony’s Tip: Titans / Titans - HT/FT ($2.05 BoomBet)

New Zealand Warriors vs Melbourne Storm

The Warriors are showing they can win without their main man Shaun Johnson, with Te Maire Martin outstanding in the big win at the Cowboys last week. Now it looks Like Johnson may play this weekend in a boost for the club. The Storm will be a good test of where they are at, with Tyran Wishart proving a fine replacement for injured star Cam Munster.

Tony’s Tip: Over 44.5 Points ($1.90 Ladbrokes)

Parramatta Eels vs Sydney Roosters

Everything points to a Roosters win here - they are fresh off the bye while the Eels suffered a shock loss to the Bulldogs last week after having the game seemingly in the bag. All eyes will be on Mitch Moses, who struggled against the Dogs and needs a big game to secure an Origin recall.

Tony’s Tip: Roosters -6.5 ($1.95 bet365)

Manly Sea Eagles vs St George Illawarra Dragons

The Titans keep tumbling from one disaster to the next and normally at home against the Titans, I’d be tempted to go for them. But with Lachlan Galvin missing and morale at rock bottom, I can’t see them avoiding a tenth straight defeat.

Tony’s Tip: Talau Anytime Tryscorer ($1.75 BoomBet)

Newcastle Knights vs Penrith Panthers

The Knights really need to win this week to stay in finals contention and the home crowd will be worth 10 points to them. But Penrith will be close to full strength, with only Nathan Cleary missing from their star-studded line-up - and have too much class all over the paddock.

Tony’s Tip: Panthers 13+ ($2.00 EliteBet)
