The 2022 Clive Churchill Medal will be presented to the best player on the ground in the NRL Grand Final between Penrith Panthers and Parramatta Eels.

Penrith's Nathan Cleary is a clear favourite in the betting after also winning the award last year, while his team-mates Isaah Yeo and Dylan Edwards are the only other single figure priced contenders.

Cleary was the hero in 2021, winning the Clive Churchill Medal after the Panthers defeated South Sydney Rabbitohs in the Grand Final.

The Panthers struggled a little without him during the final weeks of the regular season, but he was the inspiration of strong second half performances in both finals to reach the premiership decider.

If Parramatta Eels are to pull off an upset and win the Grand Final, Mitchell Moses is going to have to win his battle with opposite number Nathan Cleary.
