North Queensland Cowboys vs Melbourne Storm Tips

The form of these two sides are poles apart. There is very little reason to think the Cowboys can bring the Storm's long winning run to an end.

Melbourne have been far too much attacking talent and they should turn it on again against the NRL's second leakiest defence.

Melbourne have won 11 in a row including a 36-20 victory in Round 18 last year.

North Queensland Cowboys Form

The Cowboys suffered a fifth straight loss when they were beaten 34-18 by Sydney Roosters last weekend.

The margin didn't tell the full story, however, with the Roosters running in three tries in the last 11 minutes to seal the game.

North Queensland have also been beaten by Manly Sea Eagles 50-18, Cronulla Sharks 26-24, Newcastle Knights 38-0 and South Sydney Rabbitohs 46-18 in their losing run.

The Cowboys have slipped to 13th on the ladder, but are still only a win outside of the top eight in a congested table.

Only the Brisbane Broncos have conceded more points than the Cowboys this season. That does not bode well as the free-scoring Melbourne Storm come to town.

Storm can cover a big -30.5 handicap again and bring up a club-record equalling 15th straight win.
