Brayden Musgrove has been named to make his debut on the wing in place of Starford To'a. Edrick Lee (foot) is out for another week.

Mitchell Pearce (pectoral) is out until rounds 14-16. Lachlan Fitzgibbon (shoulder), Dom Young (knee) and Jirah Momoisea (Achilles) are out indefinitely.

Cronulla Sharks Form

Cronulla started the season with a 32-18 win against the Dragons. They had excused in a 12-10 loss against Canberra with Chad Townsend missing all three attempts at goal.

The Sharks had more excuses in a 28-4 loss against Parramatta after suffering a number of injuries. They played more than 45 minutes with no men on the bench.

John Morris’ side bounced back with a 48-10 win against the Cowboys. They completed 84% of their sets, conceded 1 penalty and dominated the game.

The Sharks led the Roosters 18-4 with 20 minutes remaining last week. They conceded four tries in the final quarter of the game to go down 26-18.

Briton Nikora (suspension) returns to the second row but Wade Graham (concussion) misses out. 

Teig Wilton continues in the back row with Siosifa Talakai (shoulder) on the bench for his first game of the year. 

Josh Dugan (concussion) is also out with Connor Tracey to start in the centres.

Andrew Fifita (suspension) is unavailable for selection after a crusher tackle in reserve grade.

Royce Hunt (knee) could return next week. Sione Katoa (knee) is out until rounds 8-10 with playmaker Shaun Johnson (Achilles) scheduled to return in rounds 7-8.

Craig Fitzgibbon signed a three-year deal with the Sharks and will join the club at the end of the season. John Morris relinquished his coaching post immediately with current Sharks assistant Josh Hannay taking charge for the rest of 2021.
