  • New Zealand Warriors have won the last 5 matches against St George Illawarra Dragons.
  • St George Illawarra Dragons have lost 7 of their last 10 matches.

New Zealand Warriors Form

The Warriors' mid-season struggles continued before last week's blank weekend when they lost 10-6 at Newcastle Knights.

It was a fifth defeat in the last six games, including to Manly Sea Eagles, Parramatta Eels, North Queensland Cowboys and Melbourne Storm.

Nathan Brown's only win since early May came when defeating Wests Tigers in Round 11.

Fullback Reece Walsh is ruled out with a hamstring injury, so Roger Tuivasa-Sheck switches to fill the void.

New recruits Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Chad Townsend start on the wing and at halfback respectively.

Euan Aitken and Josh Curran are unavailable due to coronavirus protocols.

Marcelo Montoya moves to centre in place of Aitken and Edward Kosi comes onto the wing. Eliesa Katoa replaces Curran.

Wayde Egan is also available after a concussion absence, pushing Jazz Tevaga to the interchange and Taniela Otukolo to the reserves.

St George Illawarra Dragons Form

The Dragons moved back into the top eight spots after a 22-20 victory over Canberra Raiders in Round 15.

Having beaten Brisbane Broncos 52-24 three games back, the Dragons' recent form can be described as inconsistent.
