Head to Head

Sydney Roosters came out on top in the 2019 Grand Final against the Melbourne Storm, but the Tricolour lost both games played between the sides last year.

A Cameron Smith penalty earned a 27-25 extra time victory for Storm in Round 8. They were then comprehensive 24-6 winners in Round 14.

Storm have now won eight of the last 12 clashes against the Roosters.

Melbourne Storm Form

The Storm are back in positive territory after a third win from five games courtesy of a 52-18 victory over Canterbury Bulldogs last weekend.

It was a nine-try show of dominance from the Storm, who have totalled 92 points in the last two games. They also won 40-6 against the Brisbane Broncos.

The victories have come against two of the weakest sides in the competition, but Craig Bellamy's Storm have done what they needed to.

Storm had opened the season with a 26-18 win over South Sydney Rabbitohs before losing to Parramatta Eels (16-12) and Penrith Panthers (12-10).

Brenko Lee makes his return to the Storm matchday squad after being named in the reserves following a hamstring injury.
