Dolphins vs New Zealand Warriors Tips

The Dolphins will be looking to end their inaugural season with a victory when they go up against the second-team of the New Zealand Warriors at Suncorp, on Saturday.

The Warriors will rest a host of their key stars, while the Dolphins have one last fight in them before looking towards season 2024. The Dolphins are 1.60 favourites but I will be taking them minus 4.5 points for the extra value.

I am also going to jump on the Dolphins to win both halves. There is no other tryscorer in this game more certain to cross the line than Jamayne Isaako, so I am backing him for a double.

  • The Warriors have lost their last 3 games at Suncorp.
  • The Dolphins win 57% of their games when leading at halftime.
  • The Dolphins have hit the HT/FT double in 50% of their wins.
  • Jamayne Isaako has scored at least 2 tries in 6 games this season.

Head to Head

In their inaugural match the Warriors beat the Dolphins 30-8, at Go Media Stadium, in round 14. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Shaun Johnson were the troublemakers, both scoring a double.

Dolphins Form

The Dolphins have lost their last six matches and 10 of their last 11. Their most recent defeat was at the hands of the Cowboys, going down to their QLD rivals 34-10.

On a positive for the Dolphins, is the form of Jamayn Isaako who is set to be the league’s Top Point Scorer and currently leads the tryscoring race as well with 23 tries in 2023.
