Cronulla Sharks vs Sydney Roosters Tips
The Roosters will return to Pointsbet Stadium for the second time in 2023 in hope of avenging their Round 7 loss to the Sharks.
Most bookmakers have this game as a dead heat, giving punters the chance to flip a coin and pick a winner. Both teams have finished the season strong, but you would have to say that the pressure is on the Sharks to win this week considering no one gave Sydney a fighting chance to make the eight two months ago.

Both teams haven't been great against top-8 sides this season, however the Cronulla have been a much better side at Shark Park this season and it is the home-field advantage that gives them the edge.

The loss for the Roosters was their first against the Sharks in eight games, not losing to Cronulla since round 17, 2017.

The win against the Raiders was Cronulla’s fourth in five games, giving them the momentum and confidence they need heading into do-or-die footy.

The Roosters dug deep in the back end of the season winning six of their last seven games to qualify for the finals in the final round of the home-and-away season.
All punters and experts had written the Chooks off midway through the season, but they finished the year better than any team in the comp, averaging 29.6 points in attack and just 12.4 points in defence in their last 5 games and going undefeated.
