The Canterbury Bulldogs host the Gold Coast Titans in Round 17 of the NRL season on Saturday afternoon at ANZ Stadium. The Bulldogs are the competition cellar dwellers currently in last place, while the Titans are improving each week but will also miss out on the finals.
Bulldogs Form & Team News
The Bulldogs have been playing consistent football in the last month, but have failed to turn those performances into victories.
Charging to a 20-8 point lead at halftime against the Canberra Raiders last week, the Bulldogs looked set to move off the bottom rung of the ladder. But they failed to take advantage of the hot start, going down by 34-20.
Luke Thompson and Jake Averillo return to the bench in place of Sione Katoa and Dean Britt.

Gold Coast welcome back star forward Moeaki Fotuaika (suspension) onto the bench, while Jai Arrow and Anthony Don are a chance of returning to the side this week after being named in the reserves.

Bulldogs vs Titans Head To Head
The Bulldogs and Titans have barely been separated in their 17 clashes to date, with the Bulldogs holding a 9-8 advantage over the Titans.

Bulldogs vs Titans Betting Odds
The Titans are favourites to win the match at $1.82, with the Bulldogs $2.00. The line has been set at +1.5 points for Canterbury.
Bulldogs vs Titans Match Up
Jamal Fogarty and Lachlan Lewis are two inexperienced players who have had the halfback roles thrust upon them with their clubs in dire straights.
Fogarty has taken over the Titans halfback and captaincy roles on the back of Ash Taylor’s poor form, providing the team with much needed direction.
Lewis is in a similar position for the Bulldogs as he strives to make the halfback position his own. With Trent Barrett set to take the reins as coach next year, Lewis is one of a host of players playing for the futures.
Bulldogs vs Titans Key Stats
