Bulldogs vs Cowboys Tips & Betting Preview

Canterbury hosts North Queensland to kick off the second round of the 2020 NRL season.

The Bulldogs lost to the Eels in last week's season opener in a dour affair which saw just one try scored across the entire 80 minutes. The Dogs did show they won't be easybeats in 2020 but their lack of offensive power was telling.

The Cowboys were left to rue missed opportunies after they lost by seven points to the Broncos. One positive in the loss was the form of new recruit Valentine Holmes, who only took 14 minutes to cross the try line on Friday.

Bulldogs vs Cowboys Match Up

Star pairing Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Valentine Holmes are the players to watch.

DWZ made a few errors in round one against the Eels but was easily the Dogs' best attacking option. Holmes made a steady return to the NRL, scoring a try in the opening 14 minutes.

If either player manages to take the game by the scruff of the neck it go a long way to deciding this match.

After he delivered a winning bet for us last week we're again taking Valentine Holmes to score a try at anytime as well as placing a small wager on Kyle Feldt to make it a hattrick of first tries on a Thursday night against the Bulldogs.
