Tampa almost stole a victory against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night going down to a Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid masterclass in overtime where they walked 70 yards from 11 plays and won the game without the Bucs touching the ball.
It was an impressive performance from the Buccaneers who are also having major injury problems with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out long-term, deflating what has been an electrifying start to the year by Baker Mayfield and the receiving group.
The downfall in Tampa is the offence needs to keep up with how many points their dismal defence is giving up and it has been manageable for Mayfield, but not anymore with his key receivers out.
