Josh Allen is currently 6th in Passer Rating with 17 Touchdowns to only 2 Interceptions so far this season and is 5th in Adjusted Yards per Pass Attempt. The Bills are 4th in Scoring and 8th in Scoring defence bringing a complete package to the table.

Indianapolis on the other hand are at a crossroads with their young franchise QB in Anthony Richardson. They will be once again starting veteran Joe Flacco in this game opting for a win-now attitude instead of allowing their young star to gain valuable game time.

Flacco was disappointing last weekend against the Vikings but will be hoping to set the run game with Jonathan Taylor against a Buffalo rush defence that allows 4.8 yards per carry. Flacco will be hoping that opens up the game to allow him to be more aggressive in his passing further down the field.

In my opinion though, even if the Colts are able to get into scoring range Buffalo will be able to score more. The Colts offence hasn’t provided enough starch for me this season to back them in against one of the best teams in the NFL right now in the Bills.

Buffalo had to do it the hard way last weekend against the Dolphins securing a 30-27 victory via a field-goal with 10 seconds left on the clock.

The Bills trailed their opponents 10-6 at half-time but clawed back in front in the third quarter with two TD’s either side of a Dolphins field goal. Josh Allen was superb once again connecting on 25 of 39 passes for 235 yards with 3 TD’s and 1 Int and was sacked only once in the game.

Defensively Buffalo allowed their opposing QB to complete 25 of 28 passes at 9.24 yards per completion only slightly higher than their season average of 9.1 which ranks them 4th best in the league in this metric. Miami did run though for 149 yards at 4.8 per carry which is bang on the season average ranking them at 26th.

Indianapolis Colts Form

Indianapolis fell to 4-5 on the year last weekend with a 21-13 defeat at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings. Veteran Joe Flacco was put in charge but managed only 16 completions on 27 attempts for 179 yards in the game.

The Colts O-line allowed Flacco to be sacked 3 times in the match and accrued only 68 rushing yards on 19 attempts, most through Jonathan Taylor.

Defensively the team was pummeled both through the air and on the ground giving up 415 yards of offence to their opponents. The pass rush did get to their opposing QB for 4 sacks and took 2 interceptions but with the offence unable to capitalise it didn’t play much of a role.
