The Ravens had a mixed offseason losing 15 players to free agency and trade.

The Chiefs had arguably their most underwhelming regular season in the Patrick Mahomes era with their quarterback having his worst statistical year since being a starter…. But they still won it all.

Mahomes struggled to find his wide receivers and when he did they often dropped passes. With the offence struggling the Chiefs defence stepped up allowing just 289.8 total yards per game which was ranked second in the NFL, while allowing just 17.3 first downs per game which was tied third.. Subsequently the Chiefs ranked second in the league by allowing just 17.3 points per game.

The Chiefs had one main issue to address in the offseason and that was to get some more depth at wide receiver, and they addressed it.

Kansas City bought Marquise Brown from free agency and also drafted speedster Xavier Worthy to re-activate the deep ball that has been missing from the offence since letting Tyreek Hill go to the Dolphins.
