Read the reasons for our selections below:
Caulfield - Race 2 No. 4 Agreeable
AGREEABLE is not exactly a punter's pal, but she was very good last start from the back of the field at Sandown Lakeside where she rocketed home hard to the line, only missing the in-from Palace Whisper and Ornamental Lady. I do feel 1400m is her pet trip, so she looks in her right grade with the right jockey on board, from a good gate and second-up into her prep. The only negative is that she is one from seven.
Eagle Farm - Race 5 No. 3 Gotta Kiss
On good ground and in a small field, I am hoping that offsets the negative inside gate for this talented three-year-old.
She was last seen running a solid fifth in the Magic Millions Guineas over 1400m at the Gold Coast, a much stronger event than this, and now coming back to arguably her favourite track (two wins and three seconds from five starts), gets ideal conditions to be the one to beat.
Gotta Kiss will need to probably half miss the kick from the inside gate to take luck out of the equation, as she does love to get back and swing wide, with some clear air at the top of the straight, I do feel she is the best bet on the Eagle Farm program.
Rosehill - Race 6 No. 2 Harmony Rose
Barring New Zealand galloper Force Of Will, HARMONY ROSE is the only runner in the 2021 Vinery Stud Stakes that is dropping back to fillies' grade, which is a huge factor and her fighting effort second-up effort in the Randwick Guineas was terrific. She was forced to do some early work there in a race set up for the back-markers, but fought on with the subsequent Rosehill Guineas winner Mo'unga just grabbing her late. Clearly the one to beat.
Rosehill - Race 8 No. 4 Rock
ROCK profiles as a good lightweight Doncaster hope and looking to follow a similar second-up pattern that saw him bolt into score last spring, he's got the perfect platform to book his place into next Saturday's feature after recording the fastest last 600m of the Coolmore Classic meeting (32.91) covering more ground than Think It Over in the process, last Saturday's George Ryder Stakes winner. Settling a shade closer from a good draw would be ideal.
Caulfield - Race 9 No. 9 Shandy
SHANDY looks the best bet of the day, as if they are ever going to be coming from behind, it will be in this event. Was huge last start when backed heavily at Sandown, yet proving to have too much class for her rivals. She went through her grades probably a little too quickly last prep, but this looks an ideal race second-up for a mare who looks to have a lot of middle distance to staying ability. On the minimum is an almighty tick against this opposition as I do feel she is the best horse in the race. The inside gate is the knock.
Multibet FAQs
What is a multibet?
A multibet is a combination of bets rolled into one wager. You can increase the odds by adding selections. A multibet must consist of at least two selections.
What is the minimum stake for a multibet?
There is no minimum - you could place as little as $1 on your multibet.
How is a multibet calculated?
The odds are combined to give you a total price for the multi. When you win on leg one, that amount is then rolled onto leg two and so on. The winning price is your rolling stake placed on the final leg of the multi.
