Read our selections below:

Flemington - Race 1 No.4 Schabau

A leading cups contender, this boy returned in tremendous order running third to Al Galayel and fellow Caulfield Cup fancy Orderofthegarter.

Fitness was always going to be his issue heading into the race, and running along at a fast clip was always going to set it up for something around midfield.

He was only beaten around a neck and will take dramatic improvement from that run.

Getting backing to Flemington is also a positive, the same track where he boasts three wins which asserted his Cup favouritism last season before injury.

Expect him to roll along and monster his opposition from the front being the class of the race.

Doomben - Race 3 No. 10 Fisticuffs

This Toby & Trent Edmonds-trained galloper resumed in strong fashion first-up behind Le Palmier, and looks well placed to return to the winners circle.

Running his last 600m in 32.58 seconds, the Redoute’s Choice six-year-old was strong through the line and will enjoy stepping out over the 1200m.

The blinkers have been applied for the first time, a vital gear change which will switch him on in for the task at hand.

Ryan Maloney has been booked to ride, and from barrier six Fisticuffs looks extremely hard to beat as the best bet at Doomben this Saturday.

Morphettville Best Bet - Race 3 No. 4 Tatalina

The powerful South Australian combination of McEvoy and Vorster team up in the third from Morphettville with this honest five-year-old who's put together a tidy record so far with four wins and four placings from her 15 starts.

She arrives here third-up and seemingly ready to peak now with two strong performances under her belt which includes a very brave and narrow second on August 29 after covering a stack of ground from a wide draw where she was forced to go for home a long way out.

The first two home on that occasion were clearing out from the rest of the field and whilst this is technically a little harder, the 5.5kg plummet in the weights is a big factor as is barrier two which gives Vorster more options early.

The Victorian form for Tatalina is strong enough for this contest that does have a long tail to it and with further improvement projected, she does look very well placed as the best bet at Morphettville.

Doomben - Race 4 No. 5 Good Chat

David Vandyke and Ryan Maloney have built an outstanding combination this season and combine once again with Good Chat.

The three-year-old son of All Too Hard was unbelievable first-up when never asked to get out of second gear by Maloney at the Sunshine Coast.

Going straight to the front that day, Maloney is drawn to do the same once again from barrier two where he can land straight on the speed

After an extremely impressive first-up victory, Good Chat looks well placed to record consecutive wins.

Rosehill - Race 8 No. 8 Fasika

She's a rather bombproof mare is this daughter of So You Think who has an excellent fresh record and off the back of three strong trials over August and early September, they should be ready to strike again first-up.

Fasika dictated last time in when resuming for a comfortable win (defeated subsequent Galaxy winner I Am Excited) and although she was perhaps a little disappointing following that, the last start third in a strong All Aged Stakes reads very well coming back to a mares race with just 55kg to carry.

This is certainly isn't a bad field but all the well-rated opposition do seem to be more suited over longer journeys and at 1200m, Fasika does appeal as the best out and out sprinter in the 2020 Sheraco Stakes.

The five-year-old worked every bit as strong as Gytrash when narrowly defeating one of Australia's best sprinters in an August trial and with a potential Everest berth at stake, this is a race she needs to be winning if there's a genuine view towards them premier events.
