Read our reasons for our selections:

Rosehill - Race 1 No. 1 Frosty Rocks

Following the ultimate gear change and an outstanding trial, we tipped this three-year-old first-up where he duly saluted over the five furlongs at Warwick Farm on April 29.

He put a second-up shocker in response to that when failing on the May 20 Randwick Kensington program, however, with the tongue tie being applied after that disappointment (choked down?), he bounced with a huge victory at Warwick Farm on June 8.

Frosty Rocks led throughout on that occasion to score by more than eight lengths in smashing the clock for that card by bettering Threeood's 1300m win the race prior by around seven lengths.

This isn't much harder coming back to a three-year-old race where only goes up one kilo off that last start romp and making his own luck on the speed under Nash Rawiller, Frosty Rocks will get every chance again as the best bet at Rosehill.

Morphettville - Race 4 No. 2 Rothmoore

This six-year-old was a brilliant three length winner in this grade when resuming over the six furlongs at Gawler on June 20.

Following that he stepped out as favourite on June 17 in what was a disappointing effort considering his short quote, however, with no second-up form to his name, I'm willing to forgive that performance.

After prevailing fresh last time in and putting in a flat one second-up, his closing effort for fifth at Benchmark 70 level is certainly good enough to figure in this Benchmark 58 as was most of his form from that entire campaign.

Rothmoore is the class runner of this field, loves soft going and under Jason "Stubby" Holder who'll look to make his move late, he's capable of bouncing back as the best bet at Morphettville this Saturday.

Doomben - Race 6 No. 6 Soxagon

After being nabbed on the line by the airborne Red Chase last start, Mark Currie's four-year-old gelding looks primed to bounce back to the winners circle.

An ultra-consistent performer, Soxagon has finished in the quinella ten of fifteen starts so far in his short career including placings behind Alligator Blood and Vega One.

From barrier seven, Brad Stewart will find a perfect run in transit one-off the fence and looks primed to return to the winners circle.

Soxagon gets in very well under the set weights conditions of this 1350 metre event and gets his chance to bounce back as the best bet at Doomben.

Caulfield - Race 8 No. 4 Harbour Views

Has the penny finally dropped for potential star Harbour Views?

His Moonee Valley win (13/6) says he is about to explode, showing an elite turn of foot over 2040m.

Straight after the race, Matthew Williams was talking Dato's and Cox Plate's which of course is the elite level, but he has promised something like that all through his career.

In this race, he stays at 2000m and he is one from one at the track, so all things looks to be heading his way.

If he produces a similar performance to last start, he wins this race, so the even money available makes him the best bet of the day.

Caulfield - Race 9 No. 13 Victoria Star

He is the first emergency in the race, but we expect there to be  multiple scratchings over the  next 24-36 hours which means he should cement his spot on the field.

He caught the eye first-up when looking a certainty beaten 200m from home, he took tight gap and exploded at Cranbourne on May 15.

Coming to a good track at Caulfield at his next start on May 30, he was just one length of this race favourite Heptagon who won again last week.

Having the experience around the track now, this should have him right to be peaking in this race.

He will strike a rain effected track here, the conditions that suit him best as he is unbeaten (five from five) in the wet.
