Warwick Farm Racing Tips For March 11 2020

A very even midweek card will be run at Warwick Farm tomorrow where light rain at worst is predicted.

The track is currently in the Soft 7 range and the rail is in the 3m position.

Warwick Farm Best Bet

Race 2 No. 3 Kinane

A recent addition to the Chris Waller stable is this three-year-old who was originally in the care of the Mick Kent yard in Victoria (about to take a short break from training).

This son of Reliable Man made his debut at Bendigo in October last year in what was a luckless performance for second where he should've won that race after being held up/inconvenienced at various stages (unsuccessfully protested against the winner).

He was tipped out following that and arrives here fresh off a quiet trial at Cranbourne before a much more prominent piece of work when finishing next to Zakat and All Time Legend at Rosehill, with both of them gallopers winning straight out of that heat.

Kinane should improve off whatever he does first-up but in what isn't a strong maiden and with seven furlongs being a good starting point, he can get away with this as the best bet at Warwick Farm.

Race 3 No. 11 Twice As Special

This filly looks yet another honest galloper by Testa Rossa and is well suited stepping up to the six furlongs now third-up from a spell.

Following an even effort in a decent maiden on January 27, she took good improvement into her Kensington performance on February 19 when remaining at the 1100m to get home strongly for third.

With a 33.79 last 600m, this filly peeled of that fasted last six furlongs of that event after conservative tactics early and given time to wind up in the straight, she got stronger as it wore on.

Barrier eleven isn't the end of the world on a soft Warwick Farm surface where with the extra 100m, Twice As Special should be in the mix again and any improvement, is a winning chance.

Warwick Farm Value Bet

Race 6 No. 3 Creator

From the same family as the Hong Kong champion sprinter in Silent Witness (dam is a half sister to him) is this $1.5 million dollar yearling purchase who's first-up here.

Despite only having won the one race to date, one look over his form shows the quality that he's been up against over the journey and if we take out his last two spring runs, he's been extremely competitive in most efforts.

These include a close runner-up effort to Shadow Hero (subsequently a dual group one winner), defeating Brandenburg (group winner/group one placed) and has generally come to hand early in his campaigns.

Hard to fault his two trials leading in (one behind Anaheed) and in a midweek Benchmark 70, Creator is certainly capable and any positive market push must be respected.
