The opening day of racing at Royal Ascot kicks off with the Queen Anne Stakes and we have a value bet for the Group 1.
This historic race was first staged at Ascot back in 1840, and Palace Pier will bid to etch his name next to the likes of Cape Cross, Goldikova and Frankel on the famous trophy.
We've taken a look through the field set to contest this year's Queen Anne Stakes and picked out our best betting tips.

Palace Pier is comfortably the best miler in the business. Frankie Dettori's mount boasts winning form at this meeting, having beaten Pinatubo in the St James's Palace Stakes 12 months ago. He also had excuses for the only defeat of his career on Champions Day in October, where he was edged out of things by two fresh rivals at the end of a long, hard three-year-old campaign.
The favourite was simply peerless in the Lockinge, and it's hard to see John Gosden's star getting beat. However, there's no real value backing the market leader at 4/9, so we might as well look for an each-way alternative.
I don't really know what to make of Order Of Australia. His three-year-old campaign was unusual, to say the least, and I can't help but feel he was a tad fortunate to win at the Breeders' Cup. Lope Y Fernandez was beaten into third by his stablemate at Keeneland and couldn't lay a glove on Palace Pier in the Lockinge. I'm not convinced by him, either.
Regal Reality can be very keen, especially when fresh, so I never like backing him first time out, and I'm not sure whether a mile of fairly quick ground will suit Tilsit, especially on a straight mile.
Prince Eiji is yet to really prove his quality and I feel Sir Busker would prefer the ground to be a little slower. Accidental Agent has shown no real form since that shock win here in 2018. Bless Him may be a little out of his depth and Pogo looks more of a pace angle than a genuine contender.

Top Rank is a horse I'm keen to follow this season. I NAP'd Jame Tate's star when he won first time out at Doncaster, and backed him again in the Lockinge, where he ran well to fill the third and final place.
I should really keep faith with Top Rank and back him each-way again. Yet, I find myself drawn more towards LORD GLITTERS, who can be found at a massive price of 25/1.
David O'Meara's star flew home from the rear to win this race at Royal Ascot in 2019. Lord Glitters was very busy out in Meydan earlier this year, showing he still retained all of his ability with a series of fine performances, winning the Singspiel Stakes and the Group One Jebel Hatta.
On his return to British soil in the Lockinge, Lord Glitters stayed on from out the back to finish fourth. Although he was beaten 12-lengths that day, Lord Glitters wasn't ridden to mount a challenge, and it's clear the team had both eyes fixed on a return to the Queen Anne Stakes - having been forced to miss the defence of his title 12 months ago.
To see a former winner of this race in Lord Glitters, who has shown some excellent form already this season, sitting on 22/1 is a chance I don't want to pass up. I doubt whether he can beat Palace Pier, but he's certainly a contender for the places.
