The feature race on day two of Royal Ascot is the Prince Of Wales's Stakes.
This historic race was first run during the Royal Meeting in 1862, and Lord North will attempt to become just the fourth horse to retain his crown at Ascot on Wednesday.
We've taken a look through the betting for this year's Prince Of Wales's and picked out our top tips.
2021 Prince Of Wales's Stakes Runners
Lord North showed Addeybb and Japan a clean set of heels when winning this race 12 months ago. John Gosden's star has shown his quality around the world since then, finishing fourth at the Breeders' Cup before powering to a three-length triumph in the Dubai Turf.
Aidan O'Brien claimed earlier this week that both Love and Armory are being lined up for the Prince Of Wales's Stakes. Love powered to hugely impressive wins in the 1000 Guineas and the Epsom Oaks last year, but hasn't been seen since winning the Yorkshire Oaks at the Ebor Festival.
After hitting the crossbar plenty as a three-year-old, Armory made a winning British debut in the Huxley Stakes at Chester last month, thrashing Sangarius by three lengths.
Addeybb is now a four-time Group One winner, having successfully defended his Queen Elizabeth Stakes crown at Randwick back in April. William Haggas' Champion Stakes winner really does need a bit of cut in the ground though, and it's highly likely he might not even run on Wednesday.
William Buick has already been confirmed in the saddle of Audarya, who caused a huge shock when winning the Filly & Mare Turf at the Breeders' Cup. My Oberon and Sangarius are likely Royal Ascot runners, with David Simcock's nine-year-old, Desert Encounter rounding off the field.
2021 Prince Of Wales's Stakes Tips
There are a couple of reasons why I don't really fancy Love for this. The form of the 1000 Guineas and the Oaks she won last season, and even the Yorkshire Oaks to some extent, looks substandard. She hasn't been seen for 300 days, and to return after such a layoff on rattling fast ground, against the colts for the first time, and over a trip she's never tried before, I think is a big ask.
For me, this is between LORD NORTH and Armory, and I'm edging towards last year's victor. John Gosden's colt blew everyone away with his performance in this race last year, setting some blistering fractions during the final third of the contest.
After a run of three defeats, Lord North proved his Royal Ascot win was no fluke by thrashing some decent rivals in the Dubai Turf, and quick ground suits him better than any of the other entrants.
