Sale Racing Tips For May 12 2020

Sale will host an eight race Victorian Program on Tuesday where clear conditions are expected on race day.

The rail is in the 7m position throughout and the track is currently in the Soft 7 range.

Sale Best Bet

Race 7 No. 6 Echo Boomer

Now with a two runs under her belt, this filly from the Patrick Payne stable should be at close to peak fitness following a second placing over this track and distance on April 28.

Whilst she appeared to have every chance on that occasion, the form has been franked from that event with the winner Quantum Mechanic brave against the track pattern for third in Saturday's Listed Adelaide Guineas.

Echo Boomber was strong late prior to that at Benalla where the winner Memphis Rock, who's a few rungs above anything here, has since won comfortably again.

As the highest rated galloper in the field with an important fillies allowance, Echo Boomer gets another chance under in-form jockey Billy Egan to score as the best bet at Sale.

Sale Next Best Bet

Race 5 No. 3 Moi Choux

This progressive son of Jimmy Choux bounced back off a forgivable fresh effort at Echuca to win here on April 28.

Following a betting drift in that first-up attempt ($5-$7), there were definite excuses where he was wide throughout after playing up in the barriers and sustained a blow above the left eye (blood present).

He's been unbeaten in every one one of his other three outings which included a tough win at Moe last time in at start number two when stepping straight up from a maiden debut victory.

Has the ability to land on speed and with good as well as soft track form, Moi Choux looks to be rather bomb-proof in what isn't a strong Benchmark 70.
