GROUP 1 HORSE FEEDS F&M CLASS 2 SHOWCASE HANDICAP (Race 1)

Ramornie Handicap Day Best Bet - Race 1 No. 1 Divine Approach

Alex, Sam and Bill are will this Tony Newing-trained filly to kick the Grafton Carnival off in style following a big victory on this circuit via the June 28 program here.

Whilst there's no prizes for finding her at around an even money quote, her times stacked-up well for that program given the the class and with the best turn of foot in the race, Divine Approach is very well placed to win again.

Other Selections From the Team Include:

Race 2 No. 7 Arcalette (Alex)

Was no match for the impressive Macchina Volante last start who's not without a chance later in the card via the $80,000 Grafton Guineas.

Arcalette does draw kinder than the favorite in Willo Titto who's yet run out this distance despite having four attempts to do so and with the stronger last start form-line, he does make appeal in an otherwise thin line-up.

Race 3 No. 4 Firebox (Bill)

Classy gelding that was a big maiden winner at Ipswich fresh and has perhaps had excuses with some tricky maps since then.

Been freshened-up with a solid recent trial and does look the class galloper of a rather weak field if right to go.

Race 4 No. 12 Sacred Thoughts (Sam)

Was heavily supported last start in an eventual midfield finish following a strong effort for third at Coffs Harbour two starts back.

Respecting that prior move and at a double figure price in a Maiden field with no standouts, he's perhaps worth an each way ticket here as one of the fit runners in this event.
