Warrnambool Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 1 I Am Eloquent
Third-up and striking a wet track when the rail will likely be off looks the most perfect scenario for this mare.
She was outclassed first-up while her second-up run was super when only going under at Caulfield by a half length.
I Am Eloquent has excellent wet track form and when compared to the favourite in this event, the wider gate suits this horse and striking this race with fitness under the belt is the last tick.
If she can run up to her last start, I am expecting it to be a two horse war down the straight and that this girl gets the upper-hand on the outside late.

Warrnambool Best Bet - Race 8 No. 6 Fighting Harada
This gelding is in incredible form since he came back from what was two years off the scene.
He has strung three wins together and is going through his grades beautifully, last start beating a handy 78 field over 1300m, now ready to step back up to the seven furlongs off a six-week let-up.
Fighting Harada has a great turn-of-foot which will come crucial in these heavy conditions as it will take the sprint away from many rivals.
In saying that, he has not has a start in heavy ground, but has won in soft six conditions, so I am expecting him to handle the track, especially as they ease towards the outside on Thursday.

Warrnambool Value Bet - Race 10 No. 14 Pig In Mud
A value bet to finish the carnival sounds good to me, as Pig In Mud returns to the races in his ideal conditions.
He is very effective on rain affected ground, and with the pattern of coming from the back of the field, he will come wide and look to use the fresh ground to make his run.
The on of Street Boss has been good without winning in prio fresh attempts, but I just feel that he is not at his best on good ground and can show up in a strong manner in the wet conditions.
Jamie Kah takes the mount on Thursday and here's hoping for a perfect end to a ripping carnival.
