The form of that latest effort, which saw the gelding beaten just under three lengths is working out well with the winner and fifth both going on to score next time.
The son of Shalaa has raced from mid-division in both starts this prep and similar tactics are expected jumping from barrier eight.
Cian Macredmond retains the ride and with underfoot conditions no issue he may prove capable of springing a surprise having run well over further in the past.

Terang Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 5 Cleitus
The seven-year-old demonstrated good form last prep including when winning second up in a 1600m Benchmark 0-58 handicap at Werribee.
The son of Helmet raced on the pace in heavy conditions that day but is equally at home on a sound surface as demonstrated when runner-up at Geelong at the start of September.
The selection was beaten just under a length when contesting a Benchmark 64 handicap that day and he was spelled following that effort.
The gelding has had a couple of barrier trial efforts ahead of his return to action here including when seventh at Ararat at the start of this month.
Jordan Childs’ mount is expected to have improved for his two barrier trial starts and he has gone well first up in the past including when runner-up at Horsham on his return to action last prep.
The Symon Wilde stable can boast a 24% strike-rate (6/25) and a healthy ROI here this season and his representative is taken to resume with a win.
Westmeath BM78 Handicap Tips (Race 6)

The four-year-old is a three-time winner from fifteen starts with all three of those victories coming over the 1200m distance she is set to race over here.
The daughter of Bel Esprit ended her last prep with an impressive three-length victory in a Benchmark 64 handicap at Warrnambool in January.
The filly jumped from a double-figure barrier when racing on a good 4 surface that day and she encountered a wet track when resuming at the same venue last month.
The drop back to 1000m was against the filly on that occasion with the grey fading into last, beaten just under six lengths on a soft 6 surface.
The selection usually improves for her first start back from a break and she has a decent barrier six from the rail here.
The return to 1200m is also a positive and racing off a low weight she looks value to record a win for the Tom Dabernig stable.

The son of St Jean broke through for his first victory when successful by over a length in a 1430m maiden at Geelong when racing first up last prep.
The gelding went on to complete a double when victorious by six lengths when contesting a Benchmark 64 handicap over 1600m at Cranbourne.
Both of those victories came on wet tracks with the four-year-old spelled following a mid-division finish when seventh over 1800m at Sandown in September.
Trained by Tony & Calvin McEvoy the pick dropped back to 1400m when resuming in a Benchmark 64 handicap back at Sandown last month.
Both of those efforts came on good ground on the Hillside course with the form of that latest effort looking solid enough.
The step up in distance here is in the gelding’s favour and while the selection has been allocated a wide barrier here he is taken to overcome that given he usually races form mid-division or off the pace.
