Sha Tin Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 2 Lunar Dash
While he was defeated on debut as an even money chance, it was still a solid effort from Lunar Dash in a Class 4 that rated well (1.75-lengths faster than the Class 3 on that program).
A three-year-old who is from the same family as Pace Invader (dual Group 1 winner), the son of Street Boss has bolted in with a trial since the debut run.
Lunar Dash wore blinkers when leading throughout via a Sha Tin All-Weather heat on June 24 and that key gear change is in effect for start two.
Zac Purton stays aboard the Mark Newnham-trained galloper, with the champion Australian hoop well placed to better last season's tally of 130 winners (currently on 126).

Sha Tin Best Bet - Race 5 No. 4 Light Years Charm
The Zac Purton and David Eustace combination is striking at 33.3% this season (five winners) and they team up again with Light Years Charm.
Sold after saluting in a country New South Wales maiden last winter, the son of Rubick has been consistent for new connections, with three wins recorded in Hong Kong.
The breakthrough for David Eustace came fourth-up over this track/trip on and the market does find him ($2 or under in his last six outings).
Light Years Charm was unlucky when covering ground three starts back, but he followed that up with back-to-back wins, which includes a comfortable Class 2 success on June 8.
Riding High Together Handicap Tips (Race 8)
Sha Tin Value Bet - Race 8 No. 3 Winning Data
With no first-up wins to his name and no victories under 1400m, not much was expected first-up from Winning Data, although he won a lead-up trial.
1200m proved too sharp in that May 18 return and in a subsequent tick-over trial, the five-year-old moved well when runner-up via a June 3 heat.
While a drop in grade suited second-up, Winning Data didn't have much luck in that June 14 attempt, where the gelding finished midfield after covering ground over 1400m.
Given the tough run, he still wasn't disgraced via a 3.5-length defeat, while the Ricky Yiu-trained galloper was a track/trip winner last prep with 2kg more than he has here.
Better Future Handicap Tips (Race 10)
Sha Tin Favourite - Race 10 No. 4 Flying Luck
An honest campaigner from the Caspar Fownes stable, Flying Luck is a dual winner this season and he's been thereabouts either side of those victories.
A half-brother to Pinstriped (Group 1 winner), the son of Written Tycoon carried 61kg to victory in his last triumph and he's since been competitive at Class 3 level.
Flying Luck was freshened-up after a third-place finish on April 13 and there were excuses when in the market for his 1600m resumption on May 31.
He was back in a muddling affair via that most recent attempt, where Flying Luck had to sustain a wide and early move, and he carries 2.5kg less from that performance.
