Sandown Next Best Bet - Race 3 No. 7 Zloties
This lightly raced mare is very well placed to record a hat-trick and while she's up in the weights off her second-up triumph, Zloties stays in a BM70 vs her own sex.
With the Grahame Begg-trained galloper making ground off slow tempos first and second-up, there's been more merit to her recent victories than the margins indicate.
I'm not sure what her ceiling is, but I suspect that Zloties can push to stronger races than this in time and the five-year-old should be fine with the extra 100m here.

Sandown Value Bet - Race 4 No. 1 A Samurai Mind
It's a good move crossing the border now with A Samurai Mind, a progressive South Australian who is still putting it all together, but he does have talent.
The SA Derby late in his first campaign was too tough of an ask for the son of Shamus Award and after an 1100m return, he's won his last two starts over similar trips.
A Samurai Mind bolted in despite a wide run at Morphettville on July 27 and he was around six weeks between runs following that, so there's improvement to come.

She's still learning the caper and not settling well enough to run out longer distances, so trainer Mathew Ellerton is keeping her to short sprint trips at present.
Symphony Of Colour does have some class, which was evident in her first prep and after an uncustomary slow start, the straight-track fourth on return was sound.
The three-year-old had to switch from the inside and come out wide into better ground via that Listed tilt, which did cost her some ground and this is arguably easier.

Connections have made the right move in waiting a week and dodging Another Wil in the Testa Rossa Stakes last Saturday to contest the Group 3 Sandown Stakes.
He'll likely clash with that smart galloper down the track, but for now Craig can really lift his rating second-up and the import will need to if he's to push this spring.
The gelding should've won his first three starts in Australia and a short break was due after racing a touch flat in the Silverbowl Final, but he atoned in style on August 31.

Sandown Value Bet - Race 8 No. 14 Ceerseven
This five-year-old already has a tidy record, with four wins and five placings, while given he's only had 13 starts overall, Ceerseven still has some upside going forward.
Although he was competitive in three country cups at the back-end of his last prep, I wonder whether a strong 2000m just sees him out (better suited as a miler?).
Ceerseven has won two of three first-up attempts, with the sole miss being an eye-catching third behind a handy Elouyou and the big Hillside circuit should suit him.
