Ladbrokes Switch Handicap Tips (Race 2)
Sandown Next Best Bet - Race 2 No. 4 El Patroness
We see the trifecta from a 1400m three-year-old fillies maiden from three weeks ago run again here, and I am leaning to the filly who had placed third in that event.
El Patroness is from Shamus Award out of a really nice middle distance/staying type mare in Sure You Can, so coming up to 1600m should not be a worry in the world.
On firmer ground, we may now get the opportunity to see what type of turn-of-foot she has, so based on potential and scope, this is the one I want to be with.
Ladbroke It! Handicap Tips (Race 3)
Sandown Value Bet - Race 3 No. 1 Darceandermill
This colt holds plenty of residual fitness coming into this event, along with boasting an impressive trial win at Cranbourne on August 30.
Matt Cartwright hops aboard Darceandermill, taking 2kg off of his back while the form around the likes of Jigsaw should hold up well in this grade of race.
The son of Lonhro draws well in gate six and now looks ready to put career win number three on the board.
Ladbrokes Easy Form Handicap Tips (Race 7)
Sandown Best Bet - Race 7 No. 3 The Garden
I am happy to side with this gelding once again after a great win on the Lakeside last start, holding off a very smart horse from the Hawkes stable.
The Garden has great tactical speed and can utilise barrier one to find the front without spending the juice early in the race, which I feel is going to the key to him winning.
Although he is now coming up in class, I feel the horse he beat last start in Marimenko would prove hard to beat in this very race, so I simply cannot knock this four-year-old.
