Sandown Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 2 Seb Song
This three-year-old has a lot of ability, and he will show this even more as he steps up in trip throughout the campaign, but this looks an ideal kick off point and I do feel is over the odds.
The favourite, Beau Rossa, steps up from 1000m in Adelaide to 1300m at Sandown, where the longer straight may leave that horse vulnerable over the final half furlong, where as Seb Song will only be getting stronger.
He kicked off over 1200m at Sale last prep, running second to Shelby Cobra who won like Phar Lap during the Flemington Carnival, before stepping up to 1350m second-up where he looked to be beaten by a good one, with a big space to third.
His win at Moonee Valley in November was nothing short of awesome, so expect to see a very handy horse over these winter months as he steps through his grades.
Ladbroke It Handicap Tips (Race 5)
Sandown Value Bet - Race 5 No. 6 Heka Express
This Mare has hit some super form at her last four runs, winning two of them and placing in another, with the only flop coming two back when she was found to be lame.
She can be a bit hit or miss, and this is the strongest race she has faced in a little while, but while she is flying, why not step her up.
She was too good from the front when beating Quesadilla three weeks ago, heavily backed on that occasion as well, that Mare since franking the form again by running very well during the week.
She draws barrier one, will kick forward and make her own luck, so at the price, she looks good each-way value.

Sandown Best Bet - Race 8 No. 5 Excelleration
It's not brave tipping something at this price, but he could be anything off the back of what he produced at his first-up outing this prep on the Lakeside track.
He was backed off the map over seven furlongs and won as if he was a Stakes class horse, last on the turn, only to win by nearly three lengths in a canter.
The Hillside track will only suit him even more seeing that he has the big turn of foot and can really build into his stride as they get further into the race.
The mile looks ideal second-up and in field of horses who look as if they have just about reached their mark or may want further, he is by far the stand out bet of the day.
