Randwick is the home of Sydney racing and hosts meetings all-year round with feature programs coming throughout the famous Sydney Autumn Carnival which includes The Championships as well as group one's and major meetings in the spring.

Our Randwick best bets are provided by expert form analysts and tipsters, with free betting tips available right here.

Randwick Tips April 9

Race 1 - 11:40AM Grainshaker Vodka Fernhill Mile Tips (1600m)

Selections: 2,1,6,8.

2. MOKO was narrowly denied by Williamsburg in the slop on March 26, but with a little weight swing and a more economical run in transit, she can turn the tables on the fav. Forced back and sustaining a long run via that clash, this filly was the only runner making any impression from the back and draws an inside alley here.

1. Williamsburg got some important black-type in that 1400m Group 3 and the step to a mile should pose no problems now. This superbly bred colt is by Snitzel and out of the 2015 Vinery winner Fenway.

6. Matcha Latte brings the shortest SP from that Rosehill lead-up, where he didn't let down and was well held in third. Perhaps better suited with a colder ride.

8. Highland Harley is raw, but improved out to 1500m at Mornington where he was checked for a run at a key stage.

Race 2 - 12:15PM Bisley Workwear South Pacific Classic Tips (1400m)

Selections: 9,5,1,11.

9. LOCH EAGLE is unbeaten in two starts this campaign on heavy ground and is the obvious here, having defeated Straight Arron at Warwick Farm, a smart Waller gelding that bolted in with last Saturday's Carbine Club. Stays at 1400m, carries 2.5kg less third-up and has tactical speed. Handy race, but is the one to beat.

5. Shihonka defeated older rivals in Sydney as an early three-year-old and is close to a peak here third-up. Was wide in the Surround fresh and got home second-up against the pattern of the Darby Munro.

1. Zethus has the scalp of Home Affairs on soft ground and freshened-up, returns with blinkers on. 1400m still a query, but arrives off two solid lead-up trials.

11. Green Belt is unknown on heavy ground and will improve over further, but was super impressive in two January victories.

Race 3 - 12:50PM Polytrack-Midway Championships Final Tips (1400m)

Selections: 5,1,12,2.

5. TRAVEST will always leave supporters a little uneasy with his high head carriage, but is city class and as the real miler of this competitive 1400m field, a testing seven furlongs will suit. He does like plenty of room and momentum, so the wide draw is a big tick, while he hasn't finished outside the top three on heavy ground.

1. Rustic Steel comes out of a high rating BM88 where he finished third and avoided a penalty for this Provincial final as a result. I have him marked fav, yet $6 (via PlayUp) is available on the third line of betting.

12. Grand Rumore looks the value ($15.00 @ TopSport) of the big Kris Lees team, a mare that can improve off her second in the Newcastle Qualifier. She handles all conditions.

2. Never Talk is the class runner, but always needs luck with her pattern. Could be at the rear and buried from gate two.

Race 4 - 1:25PM Furphy Percy Sykes Stakes Tips (1200m)

Selections: 3,9,14,10.

3. PARIS DIOR is no spoil at the price, with wet ground and many unexposed rivals, but is the starting point in this two-year-old affair. She recorded slick closing splits when winning a maiden prior to a second in the Inglis Millenium, when beating the smart Sejardan as fav. Visually, she's looked outstanding in two subsequent trials.

9. Pantonario couldn't quite finish off in her first three outings, but placed each time behind Coolangatta, Fireburn and Revolutionary Miss. Been given time and is a big price ($17.00 @ Palmerbet) with that exposed form.

14. Willinga Beast didn't beat much on debut at Canterbury, albeit the time stacked up very well for the class and that March 10 victory was on a Heavy 9.

10. Kin arguably should've won on debut and was tipped out after a third on Jan 1. Trialled well and is bred to swim.

Race 5 - 2:00PM Arrowfield 3yo Sprint Tips (1200m)

Selections: 2,1,6,9.

2. PAULELE brings a third behind Nature Strip from last Saturday's TJ Smith back to this three-year-old feature and was unbeaten in his five prior runs at Randwick. Still some questions after a little setback and on a heavy track, but is the best out-and-out sprinter in this field if right and he draws to do no work under McEvoy.

1. In The Congo was poorly weighted as a three-year-old in The Galaxy, but that was a solid resumption from the Golden Rose winner. Blinkers now come off and he'll take beating with any improvement.

6. Mazu is aiming for a fifth successive win and is unbeaten since returning as a gelding, albeit has had every favor in all of those runs and this is harder.

9. Bacchanalia bolted in on a Heavy 10 second-up last winter, en route to a winning hat-trick. Is better suited at Randwick.

Paulele - $4.40Randwick Race Fivebet now

Race 6 - 2:35PM The Star Australian Oaks Tips (2400m)

Selections: 2,1,9,16.

2. GYPSY GODDESS was the run of the Vinery with the Australian Oaks in mind, grabbing third in the last stride and Pike wasn't able to get a tow in at Newcastle, so had to sustain a run. That was the first defeat for the daughter of Tarzino, having recorded five victories from as many starts in Queensland and this is the target.

1. Hinged won the Surround on a Heavy 10 prior to a brave Coolmore Classic effort when wide. Fangirl had a better turn-of-foot in The Vinery, but there's nothing with that sprint on her back here.

9. Pink Ivory was looking for this journey in The Vinery and while Gypsy Goddess was much more brilliant there, a testing 2400m perhaps favors this filly.

16. Mauricently lacks class, but was good late in the Adrian Knox and the trip won't stop her. A roughie ($61.00 @ Neds) for the exotics.

Race 7 - 3:15PM Schweppes Sydney Cup Tips (3200m)

Selections: 9,4,1,8.

9. LUNCIES had the back of a slow one when attempting a run from the off the speed last Saturday, so would've finished closer with a tow into it. The grey was well backed the start prior via the Queen's Cup over 2400m and while well beaten versus some key threats here, he was never put into it. A chance in a very open Sydney Cup.

4. Stockman stuck on behind Duais in the Tancred Stakes, where he safely held the rest on the line and that WFA form clearly stands out here. Drops to 51kg for this, but will he run out a strong 3200m?

1. The Chosen One has been around for years, competing in many features and is generally thereabouts. This will be Murray Baker's last Sydney Cup runner.

8. No Compromise sat wide yet still won the Queen's Cup quite softly. The double figure quote ($12.00 @ betstar) is a little surprising.

Luncies - $10.00Randwick Race Sevenbet now
18+ only. Don't let the game play you. Stay in control. Gamble responsibly.

Race 8 - 3:55PM Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes Tips (2000m)

Selections: 9,7,8,6.

9. ANAMOE has tactical versatility and with the ability to handle any tempo around the 10-furlong range, he may be the safest option in an outstanding edition of the Queen Elizabeth Stakes. The Godolphin colt was in his own race on Golden Slipper Day, bolting in over the 2000m on a Heavy 9 and this may be his preferred trip now.

7. Duais relished a strong speed when launching at Flemington and the Tancred Stakes triumph that followed was arrogant. Maps to have the last shot at them and has the best turn-of-foot in the field.

8. Montefilia is an underrated mare that beat Verry Elleegant on her merits in a Ranvet Stakes upset, where she was only second-up. 2000m is her right trip.

6. Verry Elleegant is aiming for a 12th Group 1 win in what may be her last run in Australia. Love her, but too short currently.

Race 9 - 4:35PM Sydney's Queen Of The Turf Stakes Tips (1600m)

Selections: 14,6,16,3.

14. YONCE is unproven at this level, but certainly warrants a shot at the Queen of the Turf, arriving off an unbeaten stretch of six to start her career. Bringing up her fifth victory in a high rating 1600m, she was then tested at 2000m, but class got her home, so the drop back in trip suits. Perhaps more genuine than the two favs?

6. Nimalee never runs a bad race and with champion hoop Damien Oliver in the saddle off two solid performances to start her autumn prep, the early quote ($30.00 @ BoomBet) appeals on an each-way basis.

16. Yearning was terrific fresh before contesting a slowly run affair second-up. Was never put into The Vinery, but this may be the target. Another at big odds ($41.00 @ bet365).

3. Icebath certainly has class, as does Colette and a win by either wouldn't shock. Both are very hard to catch though.

Yonce - $7.00Randwick Race Ninebet now
18+ only. Ts and Cs apply

Race 10 - 5:10PM TAB Sapphire Stakes Tips (1200m)

Selections: 8,1,4,11.

8. EMANATE got us out in the last on Golden Slipper Day, benefitting from the Cummings freshen-up and trial mid prep, which again worked last week with Heresy and Zapateo. Although wary of that March 19 effort being the big peak, Emanate held form deep into her second campaign and only goes up 1.5kg off the easiest of wins.

1. Four Moves Ahead is a classy filly that I've always had time for, albeit her manners are testing the relationship. Had excuses fresh and the Surround effort was fair. Big price ($20.00 @ TopSport) at this level.

4. Belluci Babe is superbly placed against her own sex after good runs The Galaxy and TJ Smith. Interesting that J-Mac doesn't ride, considering the win three back.

11. Jump The Broom faces her toughest ask, but is unbeaten from four and still untapped. The return was full of merit.
