She has contested six black-type races, so the 12-start maiden can be forgiven and Heavy Metal has been building well ahead of Thursday's attempt.
The Luke Fernie-trained filly arrives third-up following a runner-up finish on May 1 and that winner (Fancy Red) franked that form with a big win at her next start.
Fancy Red had the favours in that clash, as she did no work from the box-seat, whereas Heavy Metal had to sustain a wide run from off the speed.

Pinjarra Value Bet - Race 6 No. 3 Gringo
This gelding hasn't done a whole lot wrong in five appearances following a debut flop and he was ticking over fairly before an Ascot defeat in February.
There were excuses in that start four defeat, where Gringo covered ground throughout a 1600m maiden and he was tipped out after that tough run.
Gringo caught the eye first-up on May 1, with the fastest last 400m and 200m of the race, while the jockey dropped the whip at the 350m in his last appearance.

Pinjarra Next Best Bet - Race 9 No. 3 Late Arrival
This ex-Victorian is undefeated in three starts since joining the Indianna Weinert stable and he completed the hat-trick at Ascot on April 30.
Late Arrival was made to earn his last victory, as the son of Pierro raced three-wide throughout and he was still too tough late over seven furlongs.
He defeated Dug Another Hole in that latest win, a galloper who had won four of his prior six outings and he also placed in a metro 65+ at Belmont last Saturday.
