She was a notable drifter on debut via a strong Northam maiden early last spring and Lyn's Dakota was given time after racing greenly via that 1000m event on September 18.
Now under the care of Luke Fernie, the daughter of Kermadec was once again easy in the betting ahead of her second outing, however, that first-up run on August 8 was encouraging.
While the mare was still a little green and wanting lay-in when trying to find the faster ground out wide, she stuck on despite a bumping duel in the straight and she'll only strip fitter.

This Luke Fernie-trained galloper hasn't quite put it all together, however, she does have ability and the mare arrives here second-up after finishing third as a drifting fav on return.
Given she was in the wrong part of the track, there was merit to the August 1 resumption and that form has stood up, with a winner and recent placegetters produced from that race.
So Nataya showed potential in her first prep, with a pair of thirds (arguably should've won on debut) and while she failed at Listed level before a spell, she was $6 in that event.

She was produced off short turnarounds over her first two preps and that includes a seven-day back-up when finishing third at Pinjarra on March 24 before being tipped out.
Gold Vancouver backs-up from last Wednesday's program and behind a progressive winner, she just peaked late on her run late when finishing seventh-of-fifteen over 1200m.
While she's placed over six furlongs, her exposed form suggests that 1000m-1100m is the right range and from barrier eleven, Gold Vancouver can find the fast lanes out wide early.

A lightly raced five-year-old from the Stephanie Bakranich stable, Major Mario hasn't run a bad race in 13 career starts, with two wins and six placings recorded among those outings.
His biggest loss came on July 27, where the gelding was back to 1000m off a freshen-up and while that trip is too short, he was strong late (second fastest last 400m and 200m of the race).
Major Mario improved off that when stepping up to 1200m on August 10 and now back in grade, where he strips fitter for a suitable rise in journey to 1300m, he's very well placed here.
