This veteran has been a good campaigner for connections, with the eight-year-old closing in on 400k of prize money and he'll find this easier coming back to the provincials.

Another positive for Eeyore Wayz is the drop back in distance to 1200m on Wednesday after completing his last two outings over 1400m, while he does handle most surfaces.

He's a while between drinks now, however, this is the easiest race that Eeyore Wayz has seen in some time and as a proven weight carrier, the rise from 55kg to 60kg isn't a big factor.

He's looked a different horse in his second prep, which could be put down to finding wet tracks, as Drinks On Me had trialled up well twice on soft ground ahead of his first-up victory last week.

The son of Sessions won his last trial after a second behind a smart Soso Lucky via his first winter hit-out and he interestingly backs-up early in the prep (looking to cash in on wet tracks?)

Despite covering more ground, Drinks On Me easily accounted for On The Mark in last Wednesday's triumph and that fitter rival had some handy metro form prior to that.

Pinjarra Best Bet - Race 6 No. 1 Bravo Centurion

This Luke Fernie-trained galloper did show potential in two runs over his first few campaigns and having had time to mature, Bravo Centurion looks ready to go through the grades.

His July 31 triumph rated very for maiden class and that card, where the four-year-old worked early from a wide draw before opening up a margin on a stablemate who is no slouch.

Bravo Centurion looks destined for bigger things and with the gelding having already proved his wet track credentials in that first-up victory, he's well placed to go back-to-back.

These testing Western Australian surfaces over winter has really opened up the middle and wider lanes as a meeting wears on, so drawing out isn't necessarily a disadvantage.

Looks also has the tactical speed to work across from wide alley, with the five-year-old also suited back in trip after a fourth-of-ten finish over the Northam mile last Thursday.

There was a gear change after a metro flop two starts back and Looks was terrific via his last seven furlong attempt, where he covered ground and stuck on for third in a swoopers race.
