While 1200m proved a little too sharp, it was an encouraging debut performance from Tivacisaurus, who found the line well for a fifth-of-eleven finish in that June 20 attempt.

Interestingly, he started 20/1 at start two despite that strong first showing and with a kinder draw, the three-year-old arguably would've won last Wednesday's assignment.

The seven day back-up can be seen as a positive, especially with a 1650m run under the belt and now from barrier four with Chris Parnham back aboard, he can breakthrough here.

A full brother to Uni Time (dual stakes winner), Kraken Time was luckless via his first two outings in March and punters didn't miss him in his June 27 resumption at Northam.

He didn't necessarily beat a lot in that fresh triumph, however, there was still plenty of merit to the run, as the three-year-old was taken on throughout before opening up a big margin late.

Kraken Time looks a talented youngster who can work through these lower grades easy enough and now with a confidence booster under the belt, he can go on with it second-up.

As a 70/1 chance and arriving to last Wednesday's resumption off two modest trials, not much was expected from Hans Christian, who outperformed his starting price.

While he was never in winning contention, the gelding negotiated some traffic from off the speed for a seventh-of-fourteen finish and he's suited up in trip now second-up.

His campaign tapered off at the back-end of summer, however, his form prior to that was consistent when campaigning in the 1500m-1850m range and that includes a 1600m victory.

Stable Affairs Handicap Tips (Race 7)

Pinjarra Value Bet - Race 7 No. 7 Red Dwarf

He's still lightly raced for an eight-year-old and Red Dwarf has recorded two wins since joining the Dom Celisano stable, with both of those victories coming on soft ground.

The gelding was ticking over well for a race like this before a shot at the stumps via a Listed event last start, where he was outclassed and he's suited back in grade now fourth-up.

His last two wins have been over 1300m and 2100m, so Red Dwarf is versatile in regards to distance and with a last start 2200m run under the belt, a testing 1800m should suit.
