Pinjarra Value Bet - Race 3 No. 6 King's Artillery

He hasn't done much wrong in two starts to date, which includes a debut second over 1000m at Northam in November and that winner has since saluted twice at metro level.

While he was no threat on return behind a slick My Hidden Universe, King's Artillery was the pick of the closers in that Bunbury maiden (fastest last 600m/400m and 200m of the race).

Second and third from that June 2 event both won their next starts, so the form has been franked and I think he'll thrive at 1400m in time, so the extra 100m second-up suits.

Murray Veterinary Services Maiden Tips (Race 4)

Pinjarra Roughie - Race 4 No. 5 Mr Talentino

This Campbell McCallum-trained galloper showed enough over four runs in his second campaign, with the son of Maschino spelled after an even debut effort last November.

After catching the eye with a third at Ascot first-up, Mr Talentino was thrown in the deep end at Listed before getting home over a mile when contesting a Belmont maiden.

This provincial assignment is easier than what he faced throughout that last prep and with 1400m being a good starting point, he's among the each-way chances at a decent quote.

SBS Computers Handicap Tips (Race 7)

Pinjarra Best Bet - Race 7 No. 4 Sensessional

Although he didn't progress over the back-end of his second prep after beating a handy My Hidden Universe, Sensessional was still competitive in his last two Ascot runs.

Being a late season three-year-old with a low rating, the gelding can at least work through these lower grades over the winter period and out to 1400m is ideal on Thursday.

He was unlucky fresh when held-up at key stages over 1200m at Pinjarra, where Sensessional finished midfield and he finds a very winnable race second-up at Class 1 level.

Swan Draught Handicap Tips (Race 8)

Pinjarra Next Best Bet - Race 8 No. 1 Alberich

This ex-Chris Waller runner is building towards a win in the west, with the son of Snitzel held-up on return at Belmont before spotting them a big start over a mile at Northam.

While he had to settle for a seventh-of-thirteen finish second-up, Alberich still recorded the fastest last 200m of that June 3 event and he draws kinder in this third-up tilt.

Now prepared by Mitchell Pateman, the four-year-old gets the blinkers on for the first time and with a 1600m run under the belt, he's well placed to record win number four.
