Pinjarra Best Bet - Race 2 No. 3 Shilling Lane

While he's still eligible for maiden company, Shilling Lane should find this a shade easier than the three-year-old event that he contested on debut and 1200m suits off that.

Shilling Lane was a well backed second fav in that Good Friday event, where he struggled to keep up initially over a five furlong dash before launching from the rear for second.

The gelding easily accounted for Cessation in that March 29 attempt, a filly who was unbeaten from two starts prior to that and he can get into a better rhythm over this trip.

Pinjarra Favourite - Race 3 No. 10 Cruise To Rio

She showed some potential in three runs over her first campaign, however, the March 29 resumption was her strongest performance to date and she was specked at a price there.

After being held-up until the 200m, Cruise To Rio did well to overcome trouble and grab second, and she had arrived to that off only one lead-up trial, so she'll strip fitter here.

The three-year-old has got back in most of her outings, although she was able to settle closer when stepping to 1500m at start three, so the rise in distance here should suit.

Riviera WA Maiden Tips (Race 4)

Pinjarra Value Bet - Race 4 No. 7 Warning Shot

This Darren McAuliffe-trained galloper was well supported on debut and given that he settled towards the rear in a slowly run race, he couldn't have done much more in that attempt.

Without threatening, Warning Shot did make inroads to finish fifth in that 1200m maiden and the sectionals back it up, as he ran the second fastest last 200m of the race.

Seven furlongs is a logical progression off that March 24 outing and while the market was with him on that occasion, his lead-up trial on March 11 indicated that he'd need that first hit-out.

Swan Draught Maiden Tips (Race 5)

Pinjarra Next Best Bet - Race 5 No. 10 Richanco

He should take plenty of improvement out of this debut appearance, given the three-year-old still looks to be a work in progress, however, Richanco does have above average ability.

The gelding showed that potential via his first trial last winter, where he got past a stakes placed A Lot Of Good Men and that runner-up had recorded two Saturday wins earlier that year.

Connections have been patient with Richanco, with the strong son of Rich Enuff arriving here off a stylish trial win on March 24 and barrier one is a big positive for his first start.
