WORK CLOBBER MAIDEN Tips (Race 2)
Pinjarra Next Best bet - Race 2 No. 9 Star Subject
After showing some ability in two runs via her first racing preparation late last year, there was good money for this filly on resumption, but the bets were far from landed with a poor performance delivered via that May 19 return.
The market went the other way around second-up and it was a much-improved showing over the 1500m on June 7, her first attempt on a soft track where she let down strongly for third behind Free Solo, who was bursting to breakthrough.
Straight to 10 furlongs is a little unconventional, however, her breeding suggests it won't be an issue (out of a mare that won over 2200m) and in a very mediocre line-up, she might simply just be the best horse in the race.
STABLE AFFAIRS MAIDEN Tips (Race 3)
Pinjarra Best Bet - Race 3 No. 1 Real Senor
Knocking on the door for a breakthrough victory is this gelding who arrives now third-up and following a fresh effort up the straight here when peaking late, he improved again second-up over this track and trip.
Although Real Senor was outsprinted in the run to the line by Sketa via that 1200m event with the winner enjoying a saloon passage through, he's picked up again late and was taking ground off the winner over the concluding stages.
Sketa won again at Belmont on Wednesday and the form was also franked last week with Short Talk winning his Maiden, a galloper that was more than three lengths away in third via that June 6 contest and off that, he just about picks himself on Thursday.

Pinjarra Value Bet - Race 5 No. 7 Scootin'
This certainly isn't a strong Maiden and although this six-year-old has had chances, she's shown as much over the journey as the majority of this line-up while the return effort over 1300m was decent, making ground for fourth on June 10.
Scootin' is currently near a 20/1 quote, a price that she was specked at prior to that first-up performance which was her first try on a soft deck and it did follow a sound trial on May 29 when working to the line under a hold at Lark Hill.
The daughter of Vital Equine was one of the very few making any impression from off the speed in that fresh tilt and with any improvement second-up on a surface we now know she handles, this mare isn't without an each-way chance.
