I'm willing to forgive the Magic Millions return from this four-year-old, who started as a well-backed second fav in that feature after rounding out her spring with back-to-back wins.
Sixteen Rounds covered ground and as a result, she peaked late on that recent fresh attempt to finish fourth and it's worth noting that they broke the 1200m track record in that event.
She's now down on the 54kg minimum despite coming back to a mare's race and with more favours in the run, the daughter of Jukebox is well placed to bounce back here.

Raw ratings aren't in his favour, hence the monster quote that's available, however, this gelding has been ticking over well since joining the Scott Whittle stable last November.
Through Sandastan (second fav here) and Dual Fuel, his January and early February doesn't read too bad, while he improved off that when breaking through here over Wolf Prince.
More recently, Eight On The Dot has finished midfield in a Group 3 and run third to Master Of Zerprise, while winning form at this horses for courses track should always be respected.
Simon Tolley The Vintage Tips (Race 7)

He has no winning fresh form, which added further merit to the monster return, where he finished third over the Morphettville 1200m and recorded the fastest last 200m of the card.
His second-up stats read even worse and the fourth-place finish when backing up the next week was as well as he's gone at that stage of a prep, and he was set a task there.
There is more in his favour third-up, with My Khalifa stepping up to his pet trip of 1400m and he also gets Lachlan Neindorf back on, who has been aboard for four of his eight victories.

This is a very competitive Listed sprint and with what's predicted to be a strong tempo, that should suit Magic Max, a galloper who is most effective with a sit off a fast speed.
Jason Holder is also a positive engagement in that regard, a senior hoop who prefers saving a horse up for one last dash and he does have a decent record with the Gordon Richards yard.
Outside of a Heavy 8 failure and a Melbourne miss at The Valley in January, Magic Max has been consistent over the last 12 months and he's won a recent jump-out off a freshen-up.

The two least exposed runners in this field are Storyteller and Skinder, and in a 0-66 dash that has a decent tail to it, that pair appear to be the most progressive runners in the race.
With a kinder map and with a little turnaround in the weights from when they last clashed, I'm leaning the way of Skinder, who did cover a lot of ground in that debut last autumn.
The four-year-old has also furnished since that debut, with back-to-back triumphs here via her two summer appearances and her March 15 trial win was as well as she's worked.
