Oakbank Best Bet - Race 3 No. 6 Dual Fuel
Trainer Peter Hardacre has hit form early in 2024, with three of the handler's four runners this year tasting success and their representative here has shown good form at metro level, placing twice at Morphettville this prep, including when third over 1800m there on November 25.
Dual Fuel has had two starts since, including when beaten one-and-a-half-lengths into second when contesting an 1800m Restricted 58 at Murray Bridge two starts back.
A return to Morphettville followed, with the mare losing out by a length when fourth over the same trip in a Restricted 64 held on December 30.
She's a versatile type with regards to tactics and with that in mind, a wide barrier shouldn’t pose too many issues, having performed well from off the pace in the past.
Regular jockey Teagan Voorham is again in the saddle and Dual Fuel looks up to recording the second win of her career.

Oakbank Next Best Bet - Race 4 No. 5 Skinder
With Half A Dram and The Sting among those expected to want to go forward from the barriers, this race may well be set up for a horse ridden from mid-division or off the pace.
Skinder fits the bill in that regard, having been ridden with restraint before delivering a second-place finish when debuting over 1050m here in April last year.
She was spelled following a two-and-a-half-length defeat when seventh in a 1000m held in similar conditions going wise at Murray Bridge the following month, but the daughter of Spill The Beans showed improved form last month.
Skinder put four lengths between herself and her rivals on that occasion, with the third home that day, Miss Vignette, going on to score at Strathalbyn last weekend.
Kayla Crowther, on board for both of her starts at this venue, is again in the saddle and the pair are selected to complete a double.

Oakbank Value Bet - Race 7 No. 11 Strip Club
Tom Jolly’s mare has shown a liking for this venue in the past, finishing third in a Class 2 handicap over 1100m just over a year ago.
The six-year-old jumped at odds of $101 on that occasion, but proved that was no fluke when coming home in front in a 1050m Class 1 handicap held on a soft 6 surface here a week later.
Strip Club has raced exclusively on good going since winning at Port Lincoln in March and while she failed to shine twice subsequently, she took a step forward when runner-up there on January 10.
The daughter of Dedline raced close to the speed before losing out by a narrow margin at Port Lincoln that day and jockey Dakota-Lee Gillett, on board on that occasion, is again in the saddle here.
With a good barrier in five, the pair look like value to go one better in this contest.
