He lost no admirers in a brave second on debut, serving it right up to short fav Lockdown Sally, a mare that had placed in three Sat metro maidens.

Storm Hunter still managed to put 3.8 lengths on third and spelled after that Sept 14 attempt, he arrives here off a sharp jump-out win on Dec 12.

All of the raced brigade have had their chances and with less convictions than most his rivals, this four-year-old can go one better on return.


King Design & Construction 0-58 Handicap Tips (Race 6)


Oakbank Value Bet - Race 6 No. 4 Equal Balance

This veteran was a month between runs on Oct 21 and once again on Nov 18, so with three recent outings, he should be at peak fitness now.

Equal Balance is due for some luck, covering ground in two runs ahead of his metro BM78 tilt last start, where he was outclassed, but not disgraced.

This is a big drop in grade to a Provincial 0-58 and he carried an extra 2.5kg when beating Pitrain at this level in Aug, a galloper that is city class.

Oakbank Next Best Bet - Race 7 No. 5 Not A Single Bid

Although he was a tad outclassed irrespective, the last start Morphettville effort was okay considering the awful position he settled in early.

Following a good fresh run, Not A Single Bid then peaked late second-up with 60kg and now fit, he's much better placed in a Provincial Class 1.

Back in trip is another plus for this four-year-old, who won't mind sting out of the track, having beat city winner Tony Montana on a Soft 7 in Aug.
