Murray Bridge Favourite - Race 2 No. 1 Fine Future
The Japanese-bred gelding demonstrated plenty of ability in his first prep racing finishing third in maiden company in his first two starts.
Those efforts included a defeat by just under two-and-a-half-lengths when racing over 1200m on a good 4 track at Terang on debut in February.
The son of Fine Needle suffered a short-priced defeat at Wangaratta on his final start that prep but showed improvement when third at Morphettville Parks first up this time around.
The selection lost out by less than half-a-length when contesting a 1250m maiden on a soft 6 track that day.
While it was disappointing he could finish only fifth over 1400m here subsequently the drop in trip here is expected to suit as is the return to a wet track.
Trainer Stephen Theodore has made a good start to the season with a 29% strike-rate (5/17) to date and his representative is selected to add to those winners with a victory here.

Murray Bridge Next Best Bet - Race 6 No. 2 Hypernova
The four-year-old demonstrated plenty of ability when debuting with a third in a 1000m maiden held on a soft 5 track here on debut.
The gelding headed into that contest without any official trials or jumpouts and he performed well in finishing just under two-and-a-half-lengths behind the winner that day.
The step up to metro level combined with being ridden closer to the speed saw him finish fifth in a 1050m maiden at Morphettville subsequently.
That form is working out well with the winner, second and third all registering victories next time.
The pick joined them on the winner's list when returning to this venue and hold up tactics to get home by a narrow margin in a 1000m maiden here earlier this month.
David Jolly’s gelding shaped as if a step up in distance would suit that day and with a decent barrier in seven he looks capable of recording back-to-back wins.
Thomas Farms Benchmark 58 Handicap Tips (Race 8)
Murray Bridge Best Bet - Race 8 No. 8 Valentina Charm
Both of the mares wins have come over this track and trip with the first of those a maiden success on a good 4 track here at the start of May.
The pick was racing second up that day and has recorded some good efforts subsequently including when runner-up on a soft 5 surface over 900m here in July.
The five-year-old began awkwardly and lost ground at the start before delivering an eye-catching fifth in a 900m Benchmark 56 handicap here the following month.
The return to this distance appeared to suit with the mare breaking through for her second success when triumphing by a narrow margin against her own sex earlier this month.
The selection contested a Restricted 56 handicap that day when partnered by her jockey here Caitlyn Munro on a good 3 surface that day.
With a wide barrier no issue here thanks to her hold-up racing style the daughter of Per Incanto is taken to complete a double.

Murray Bridge Value Bet - Race 9 No. 9 Obi
The veteran performer finished unplaced in his first three starts this prep including when slowly away and keen over 1400m here on his penultimate start.
However, the gelding demonstrated improvement stepped up to this distance when racing on a good 3 track when last in action two weeks ago.
The selection lost out by just under two-lengths when runner-up having finished strongly from off the pace in a Restricted 56 handicap on that occasion.
That contest has already produced a subsequent winner while the son of Excelebration meets the winner that day Blixten on more favourable terms here.
Barrier seven shouldn’t pose any issues and while he tackles softer going in this event the eight-year-old is a multiple winner on wet tracks in the past.
Teagan Voorham, on board last time out is again set to ride here and her mount looks value to register his first win since scoring at Balaklava in August 2022.
